Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 August 2026
These terms govern your use of GuidedCase. Please read them before placing an order.
1. What we do
GuidedCase is a service of Marden Group LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Marden Group LLC, operating as GuidedCase.
GuidedCase is an online document preparation service. We take the answers you give us and use them to complete the court forms your state requires for an uncontested divorce, together with instructions for filing them.
We prepare documents. We do not file them for you, serve them on your spouse, represent you before any court, or appear on your behalf.
2. We are not a law firm
GuidedCase is not a law firm and does not practise law. Nothing we provide is legal advice, and no part of this service is a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.
Using this service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and us. Communications with us are not protected by attorney-client privilege and may not be confidential in the way communications with an attorney would be.
We cannot tell you what your legal rights are, which options to choose, or what outcome to seek. If you need that, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
3. Your obligations
You agree to give us information that is truthful, accurate, and complete. The documents we prepare are only as accurate as the answers you provide, and a court may reject filings that contain incorrect information.
You are responsible for reviewing your documents before signing and filing them, for meeting your court’s deadlines, and for paying any fees your court charges.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
4. Eligibility
Our service is for uncontested divorces, where both spouses agree to the divorce and to its terms. Our qualification questions are designed to identify cases we cannot help with.
If your circumstances change so that your case is no longer uncontested, this service may no longer be appropriate for you. We may decline or discontinue service where we believe a case falls outside what document preparation can properly serve.
5. Fees and payment
Document preparation costs $149. Optional add-ons are shown at checkout and are charged only if you select them. Nothing is added to your order by default.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
Court filing fees are set by your court and are paid directly to it. They are not included in our fees.
6. Our guarantee
If your court rejects your documents because of how we prepared them, we correct them free. If we cannot, we refund what you paid us for your packet.
The guarantee covers errors in the preparation of your documents. It does not cover a court’s decision on the substance of your case, delays caused by your court, information you gave us that was inaccurate or incomplete, or a change in your circumstances after your documents were prepared.
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Intellectual property
The site, its content, and the templates and systems behind our document preparation belong to GuidedCase. The completed documents we prepare are yours to use for your own divorce.
You may not resell, redistribute, or use our service or its output to provide document preparation to others.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to this service is limited to the amount you paid us for it.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost time, lost opportunity, or the outcome of your case.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how long we keep it. It forms part of these terms.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here on the date you place your order, and material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
11. Dispute resolution
[TBD — the owner’s attorney is deciding whether disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration, and on what terms. This section will be completed before launch.]
12. Governing law
[TBD — governing law and venue will be set once the legal entity is established.]
